Piquet a Rennes, circa 1690. Fine gilt brass Louis XIV "oignon" with single hand and central winding with glazed back.

C. Double body "oignon ", engraved with glazed back, the bezels chased with floral decoration. D. Gilt brass with Roman numerals on enamel cartouches. Blued steel single hand. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with Egyptian pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, short flat balance spring, rack and pinion regulator, tine gilt brass Louis XIV cock pierced and chased with inhabited foliage. Signed on the back plate. In good condition. Diam. 58 mm.
