Double body bassine with split bezel and loose-ring pendant, the back finely engraved with an eagle, the head of an angel, foliage and flowers, the border finely pierced and engraved with inhabited foliage. D. Silver champleve with Roman numerals, inner silver revolving alarm setting disc with Arabic numerals. Blued steel single hand and pointer. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with "tulip" pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain steel threearm balance with flat balance spring and gilt brass cock pierced and engraved with scrolling foliage. Alarm train with gilt brass pierced and engraved fixed barrel, striking on a bell. Signed on the back plate. hn very good condition. Diam. 48 mm.
