C. Four body by Thomas & John Helby (Hilsby) (Master Mark) with fixed cuvette and reeded band, the back engine-turned (rubbed). D. Matt gold with raised Roman numerals and engine-turned centre, the border with multi-coloured cast gold floral decoration. Gold "spade" hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, three wheel train, fusee with chain and maintaining power, single roller lever escapement with 36-tooth escape wheel, plain steel three-arm balance, flat balance spring with regulator, gilt brass balance cock engraved "Detach'd lever", diamond end-stone. Gilt brass dust-cap. Signed on the back plate. In good condition. Diam. 44 mm.
