Jaeger, Swiss, No. 1481 circa 1930. Fine and unusual stainless steel "Staybrite", keyless patented eight day going dress watch with power reserve indication.

C. Two piece, "variee carrure plate", polished. D. Matted silvered with Breguet numerals, offset subsidiary seconds and Up-and-Down aperture. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 19"', three-quarter pate, rhodium plated, "fausses cotes" decoration in a concentric pattern, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed `Jaeger" on the dial, "LeCoultre " on the case and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 47 mm.

Notes

An identical watch, signed LeCoultre on the dial, was sold by Antiquorum on April 13th, 1997, lot No. 3. Usually, the trademark "Jaeger" was used for the watches made for the French Market, while those made for the American Market were signed "LeCoultre".
