Notes

Henry Clay Pierce, businessman; born in 1849 in Saint Lawrence, N.Y. (U.S.A.), son of Dr. Dyes, Ensworth and Mary Jane Pierce, was Chairman of the National Railways of Mexico and lived in Saint Louis. He died on June 27th, 1927. Apparently this watch was especially commissioned by Henry Clay Pierce and later given to his son.
