Double body, decorated with a grey translucent enamel over engine-turning, enriched with paillone ornaments in a geometrical pattern, the border of the lid chased with wreath of foliage with diamond accents and centred with a fine framed oval enamel panel painted with a village dance in the manner of early Flemish painters such as Tenier. In very good condition. Dim. 80 x 54 mm.
