Four body, massive "bassine et filets", polished, the cover with a very finely painted enamel portrait of the original owner, outer rose-cut diamond inlaid foliage decoration over a black enamel ground. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 18"', frosted and gilt, three-quarter plate with going barrel, 15 jewels in screwed settings, English pointed tooth lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel balance spring with terminal curve.
