Two-body with split-pearl set bezels pendant and bow, the back finely painted with a scene evoking "Heloise and Abelard" within an escutcheon against a blue enamel ground with further champleve enamelled decoration. Engraved gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Gold dished oval point hands. M. Entirely engraved, Chinese calibre with freestanding barrel, duplex escapement, polished steel five-arm balance, flat spring with regulator. Signed on the movement. In very good condition. Diam. 60 mm.
