To be Sold Without Reserve H. R. Ekegrén, Geneva, No. 87657, made by Ed. Koehn for J. E. Caldwell & Co., Philadelphia in the early 1900s. Very fine and rare, keyless, 18K yellow gold dress watch with blue sapphire jewels. Accompanied by a 14K yellow gold chain and a 14K yellow gold mechanical pencil.
C. Four-body, ?demi-bassine? with concealed hinge, solid, polished, monogrammed case back, hinged gold cuvette. D. Champagne with Arabic numerals, outer dot minute markers, recessed subsidiary seconds dial. Yellow gold Breguet hands. M. Cal. 17''', rhodium-plated, 21 blue sapphire jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement with blue sapphire palets, Guillaume balance, adjusted to 8 positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring, ?swan-neck? micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 46 mm.
