Double body, massive, "variee carrure plate", bezels and band with a blue champleve enamelled decoration, the back enamel panel with a finely painted scene, depicting Venus playing with cloves in front of the altar of Love. D. Mother-of-pearl with Breguet numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel hands. M. 16"', nickel plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the movement. Diam. 45 mm.

Moeris was specialised in this type of watches, usually produced for Ferrocarril de Antioquia. Moeri & Jeanneret, founded in 1893, later became the company of Fritz Moeris. In fact Fritz Moeri was listed in 1911 as the '
