C. Double body, Directoire, polished with glazed back. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gold hands pierce in interlaced pattern. M. Full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring. The back plate is covered with a multicoloured gold panel, finely chased with a scene depicting Adam and Eve in the terrestrial paradise, the automaton serpent revolving on the border. Signed on the dial. Diam. 53 mm.
