Unsigned, Swiss, circa 1830. "Histoire naturelle" Very fine and rare 18K gold and enamel garnet set, keyless musical seal with erotic concealed automaton scene.

C. Polished with champleve enamelled decoration designed as facing cornucopias, hinged cover to the base disclosing an automaton scene, depicting a loving couple, applied on a blued steel ground, engaging on some elementary Nature study beneath a tree. M. Shaped gilt brass with pin-cylinder and nine stacked steel teeth, driving the automata by means of cam and levers. Dim. 44 x 30 x 24 mm.
