C. Five body, "pomme et filets", polished, a monogram engraved on the cover. Hinged gold cuvette with a concealed compartment for the automaton scene with hinged cover. Driven by the repeating train, a gold painted and enamelled couple in a boudoir is training for a baby-building contest. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade " hands. M. 18"', patented three-quarter plate, nickel plated, "a vagues" decoration, 18 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Diam. 53 mm.
