C. Five body, massive, "bassine et filets " , polished the back and cover with milled rims. Hinged gold cuvette with a concealed compartment for the erotic automaton scene with hinged cover. Driven by the repeating train, a four coloured gilt engraved scene, featuring a monk and a nun in a sacristy, performing anything but penance. D. White enamel with bolt Breguet numerals, sunk centre and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 19"', gilt brass, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Diam. 52 mm.
