Notes

Montres Luxor S.A.

The company Montres Luxor S.A. was founded in 1935 by Jean Hermann Brunner in Le Locle.

This company has produced small table clocks and pocket watches with World Time indication, sold since the end of the 1950’s, under many names, for example Luxor, Brilux, but also Hermès, Paris, or Gübelin, Luzern / Lucerne. Some of the table clocks were equipped with an eight-day movement, with or without alarm. No similar wristwatch was produced by this manufacture.

Numerous other watches and clocks were manufactured in its workshops until the merger of the brand with Zenith International S.A. in 1987.
