MAGELLAN "1521" NORTHERN HEMISPHERE YELLOW GOLD Magellan Watch Co., Le Locle, Swiss, "Magellan 1521," No. 0107. Made in 2004, sold July 1st, 2005. Fine and interesting, center seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with a spherical dial depicting the Northern hemisphere, a 24-hour individually adjustable sundial hand for geographical reference to noon and an 18K yellow gold Magellan deployant clasp. Accompanied by the original fitted box, guarantee, a spare strap and sales receipt. Case signed.

Two-body, polished, hooded lugs, case back with 6 screws and engraved with an ancient map of the Northern hemisphere, encased winding-crown accessible from the case back, domed antireflective sapphire crystal. Spherical multi-colored dial depicting the Northern hemisphere according to an ancient map, outer mother-of-pearl minute/ seconds ring with 1/5th graduation in red and grade indication. Black bâton hands, individually adjustable 24-hour sundial hand for the geographical reference to noon, indicating the position of the sun over the earth at any given time. Cal. 2893, rhodium-plated, fausses côtes decoration, 21 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, micrometer regulator.
