Two-body, polished and brushed, glazed reverse secured by 6 specially designed screws, second time zone adjuster button to the band, co-axial crown with inset button to move the dial panels. Sapphire crystals. Black with applied white chapter Roman numerals, outer minutes, central guilloche, subsidiary dials for the date and seconds, aperture for moon phases, white panels with XII and IV numerals that move when the crown button is depressed to reveal second time zone and day/night indicated via rollers. Red moon hands. Cal. SHC03, rhodium plated with cotes de Geneve decoration, 39 jewels, dual mainspring barrels with 36 hours power reserve, Straumann balance spring with Breguet overcoil and low mass escape lever, self-, shock-protected balance.

Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 42 mm. THICKNESS 14 mm. This unique example, specially ordered by the original owner, is housed in a pink gold case fitted with the signature VOUTILAINEN VINGT-8 hands in red and concealed panels in white which contrast against the black dial. The standard edition in pink gold cases are fitted with pink gold stylized diamond-shape hands and the concealed panels are in same colors as the main dial color. The stark contrasting colors between the black dial, red hands, and the white panels make this a standout piece.
