Named after the French word voltige (meaning acrobatics), the 1770 Voltige's escapement spins on itself continuously at 12 o'clock. The rest of the dial remains uncluttered so as to keep the focus on the beauty of the escapement in action, featuring only the Manufacture Royale inscription at three o'clock, a small seconds sub-dial at six o'clock and enlarged hour-and-minute hands to indicate the time. A domed sapphire crystal covers the dial of the watch, giving it a structural effect. Just like all models in the 1770 Collection, the 1770 Voltige flaunts the line's elegant round case with its sides extending to form the lugs.
