MARTI - FOUR GLASS ONYX & ENAMEL MANTEL CLOCK Marti et Cie, French, No. 6580/48. Made circa 1900. Fine, gilt-brass, onyx and champleve enamel, 8-day going, hour and half-hour going mantel clock.

Rectangular with waisted and flared sides, glazed on all four sides, gilt and champleve enamel columns with corinthian capitals, onyx inset top and base, four finials and central vase finial, champleve enamel bezel, toupie feet. Annular, ivory-colored with radial blue Roman numerals, outer minute track and Arabic five-minute numerals, inner flower garlands, pierced gilt brass center, regulation arbour above 12. Pierced gilt Louis hands. Circular gilt-brass plates, going barrels for both trains, anchor escapement, sunburst pendulum, rack striking on a coiled gong.
