Fine and rare, sterling silber, champlevé enamel and malachite, 8-day going, minute repeating desk clock with painted dial. Accompanied by the original fitted box.

Rectangular arch-top silver-gilt, the front, sides and top decorated with geometric art nouveau green and black champlevé enamel, silver bezel and sterling back door, standing on a stepped rectangular malachite base, agate push-piece. Oval ivory with radial black Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, the center painted in watercolor with a landscape Chinese scene. Gilt and diamond hands. Rhodium plated, rectangular with going barrel, platform with straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by depressing the push piece on the top.
