“SALVATOR MICHAEL’’ is a reimagining by Teacher Lau of Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting ‘‘Salvator Mundi.’’ It was first introduced in 2018 at the «Collect them All!» exhibition at Christie’s Hong Kong. In this design, the character holds a large capsule toy in his left hand, symbolizing opportunity, while his right hand is positioned with crossed fingers, signifying a blessing for collectors to «Collect Them All!» This presented version is a collaboration with Artist Kasing Lung, the character holds Labubu in his left hands, signifying a blessing for Labubu collectors to ‘‘Collect Them All!’’.
