MINERVA SINGLE BUTTON SQUARE CHRONOGRAPH Minerva, case No. 438277. Made in the 1940's. Fine, cushion-shaped, 14K yellow gold wristwatch with single-button chronograph, register, tachometer and telemeter.
Three-body, solid, polished, rounded bezel, concave lugs, snap-on case back. Black with painted arabic and baton numerals, subsidiary dials for the seconds and the 30 minute register, outer minute/seconds division with every five Arabic numerals, inner tachometer scale, outermost telemeter scale. Baton hands. Rhodium-plated, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Case signed and numbered.
