Montblanc created this pen in 1993 in honour of Dame Agatha Christie (1890-1976), in a limited and numbered edition of 30 000 examples. The second of Montblanc’s “Writers Edition”.
Crafted of black hard enamel, engraved with Agatha Christie’s signature, with an elegant snake pocket clip set with genuine sapphire eyes. One of Montblanc’s most popular designs.
From this edition, a series of 4 480 examples in vermeil (gilded sterling silver) was produced in a limited and numbered edition (made of precious black resin, with vermeil pocket clip set with genuine ruby eyes).
The ball-point-pen was produced in a limited and numbered edition of 25 000 examples.
The mechanical pencil was produced in a limited and numbered edition of 7 000 examples.
A set of three writing instruments, comprising a fountain-pen, a ball-point-pen and a mechanical pencil was produced in a limited and numbered edition of 7 000 examples.
