Notes
Montblanc, “Marcel Proust”
Montblanc created this pen in 1999 in honour of Marcel Proust (1871-1922), in a limited and numbered edition of 21 000 examples. The eighth of Montblanc’s “Writers Edition”.
The pen’s exquisite hexagonal sterling silver barrel is delicately engraved in the style of the legendary author’s era. The grip and cap of the pen are finished with a black precious resin, with matching sterling silver fittings.
The ball-point-pen was produced in a limited and numbered edition of 20 000 examples.
The mechanical pencil was produced in a limited and numbered edition of … 000 examples.
A set of three writing instruments, comprising a fountain-pen, a ball-point-pen and a mechanical pencil, was produced in a limited and numbered edition of 4 000 examples.
