Notes

Montblanc, “Octavian”
Montblanc created this pen in 1993 in honour of Octavian (63 BC-19 AD), better known as Julius Caesar Augustus, in a limited and numbered edition of 4 810 examples. The second of Montblanc’s “Patron of Art Edition”.
The pen is crafted of black precious resin, with a sterling silver overlay depicting a spider in its web, suggesting the central role of Octavian in the heart of the Roman Empire, who brought years of peace, artistic development, and cultural renaissance to Rome.
