Montblanc, “Pope Julius II”

Montblanc created this pen in 2005 in honour of Pope Julius II (1443-1513), who commissioned the frescoes of the Sistine Chapel, and is remembered for his ambitious building projects and commitment to the arts, in a limited and numbered edition of 4 810 examples. The fifteenth of Montblanc’s “Patron of Art Edition”.

The pen features a gold-chased design overlaid on a cream coloured base. Its distinctive cap design follows the form of the Papal triple crown.

CONDITIONS AND INFORMATION FOR BUYERS

The purchase price payable by a buyer will be the sum of the final bid price plus the buyer’s premium, together with any applicable sales or compensating use tax. In addition to the hammer price, the buyer’s premium is payable as follows: 25% of the hammer price on each lot.
