Notes

Montblanc, “Elisabeth I.”
Montblanc created this pen in 2010 in honour of Elisabeth I (1533-1603), Queen of England and Ireland (1558-1603), perhaps the most influential of English monarchs – Elizabeth I is remembered not only for her foreign policy successes, which escalated England to world-historical pre-eminence, but for her love of culture and the arts –, in a limited and numbered edition of 4 810 examples. The twentieth of Montblanc’s “Patron of Art Edition”.
The pen (body and cap) is crafted of bright lacquer and 18K gold-plated mountings, is a worthy tribute to this extraordinary leader.
