Notes

Montblanc, “Henry E. Steinway”

Montblanc created this pen in 2014 in honour of Henry E. Steinway (1797-1871), piano building pioneer, in a limited and numbered edition of 4 810 examples. The twenty-fourth of Montblanc’s “Patron of Art Edition”.

The pen’s design evokes the Steinway’s works. The pen body (barrel and cap) is crafted from deep-black precious resin. The cap is adorned with a gold-plated soundboard of a grand piano, while the shape of the clip is reminiscent of the clamping screws of the patented rim.
