Montblanc, “Ludovico Sforza”

Montblanc created this pen in 2013 in honour of Ludovico Sforza (1452-1508), Duke of Milan (1494-1500), Renaissance ruler and patron of Leonardo da Vinci, in a limited and numbered edition of 4 810 examples. The twenty-third of Montblanc’s “Patron of Art Edition”.

The pen body (barrel and cap) is made of shiny black precious resin and decorated with silver inlays. The top of the cap and the cone reflect the architecture of Castello Sforzesco.


The purchase price payable by a buyer will be the sum of the final bid price plus the buyer’s premium, together with any applicable sales or compensating use tax. In addition to the hammer price, the buyer’s premium is payable as follows: 25% of the hammer price on each lot.
