A very fine and rare Montblanc Writers Edition Mark Twain: Limited to 12,000 pieces fountain pen (2010). The barrel and cap made by deep blue resin, with wavy guilloche pattern evokes the flowing waters of the Mississippi River. The clip is shaped like a traditional steamboat wheel representing Twain's love for river life, with medium 18K gold nib engraved of a two-fathoms - a nautical unit of length that was used by a Mississippi steamboat.
