A very fine and rare fountain pen Montblanc Writers Edition Agatha Christie: Limited of 30,000 pieces. The pen's body is made by black resin, engraved with Agatha Christie’s signature, with a viper's pocket clip set with genuine ruby eyes, with medium 18K two-tone gold nib engraved with a viper head. The design is elegant yet dramatic, reflecting the tension and suspense of Agatha Christie's detective novels. One of Montblanc’s most sought-after limited edition pens.

Montblanc created this pen in 1993 in honour of Dame Agatha Christie (1890-1976), in a limited and numbered edition of 30,000 examples. The second of Montblanc’s “Writers Edition”.

English writer known for her 66 detective novels and 14 short story collections, particularly those revolving around fictional detectives Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple.

In 1971, she was made a Dame (DBE) by Queen Elizabeth II for her great contributions to English literature. She is the best-selling fiction writer of all time, particularly in the mystery genre. Many of Christie's books and short stories have been adapted for television, radio, video games, and graphic novels. More than 30 feature films are based on her work.
