"Exo" is a Greek prefix meaning "outside" and refers to the screwed balance wheel, which is placed outside the rotating cage of the tourbillon. Three-pieces case, back and lugs are made of brushed titanium, never polished. The bezel is covered with black DLC (Diamond like Carbon) and the solid case is a mix of titanium and carbon fibre. Chronograph push button on the left. Crown in titanium inlaid with the Montblanc emblem. Scratch-resistant domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides, black dial with horizontal stripes on the upper part. White Arabic numerals and rhodium-plated hour and minute hands.Vertical satin-finished lower part. Two black chronograph counters including a 60-second counter at 8 o'clock and a 30-minute counter at 4 o'clock with double indication hand and graduations on the corresponding sectors.
