A fine and rare fountain pen. The Legend of Zodiacs - The Rabbit: Limited to 512 pieces (2022). The barrel and cap is crafted in pink gold-plated and sterling silver with hand-engraved scene rich with symbolism to bring good luck and fortune to the new year, including a rabbit, an osmanthus tree, a carrot and radish, and a mountain. The cap is crowned with the Montblanc emblem in mother-of-pearl and engraved with the Year of the Rabbit, “2023”, along with the previous six years associated with the sign. The “lucky cloud” is decorated on the barrel with a pearl set on the end of the barrel and a 18K gold medium nib embossed with the rabbit.

The Montblanc Legend of Zodiacs The Rabbit Limited Edition 512 (8x8x8) is a limited edition pen released for the 2023 Year of the Rabbit as part of Montblanc's 12-year celebration of the Eastern zodiac. The design honors the rabbit zodiac sign and incorporates the lucky number eight. The sterling silver cap of the pen is hand-engraved with auspicious symbolism. It features a rabbit standing upright, symbolizing alertness and readiness for action; an osmanthus tree, representing career success; a cabbage and radish (the rabbit's staple food), symbolizing wealth; and a mountain, signifying protection. The pink gold-plated barrel is adorned with a “lucky cloud” pattern to illustrate luck and happiness with a pearl referencing the rabbit's birthstone set on the end of the barrel.
