MOSER CO-AXIAL SINGLE BUTTON CHRONOGRAPH Hy. Moser & Cie, Monopoussoir, No. 175935, case No. 1168352. Made for the Russian market circa 1915. Very fine and very rare, large, sterling silver wristwatch with tachometer, single button chronograph on the crown and register.
Four-body, solid, polished, mobile lugs, hinged case back and cuvette, co-axial single button on the winding- crown for start-stop and return-to-zero functions of the chronograph. Matte silver with painted Arabic numerals, outer 1/5th second track with 5-second Arabic markers, most outer tachometer scale, subsidiary dials for the seconds at 6 and 45-minute register at 12. Blued steel spade hands. Cal. 17''', rhodium-plated, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
