Gilded brass, enamel and rhinestone-set, open-face, key-winding, round-shaped, “Directoire” pocket watch.
Case-back with, in the centre, a polychrome enamel miniature painting on brass showing a young man presenting the statue of Love to a prudish young woman who looks away frightened by the expectations of this arrogant, the scene decorated with gold and coloured paillons; bezels set with rhinestones.
White enamel dial with suspended “Breguet” numerals; blued steel “Breguet” hands.
Movement 18’’’, gilded brass, fusee and chain, verge escapement, monometallic balance (gilded brass) and blued steel flat hairspring, pierced and engraved gilded continental cock.
