Marina Militare Officine Panerai, Firenze 1860, "Marina Militare", No. 070. Made circa 1970. Very rare and unusual, polyurethane and anodized aluminum diver's wrist compass with liquid, strap and anodized aluminum buckle.
A portable instrument, usable on ground as well as for diving, day and night, without any external lighting. It is made of an amagnetic anodized aluminum base, on which is mounted a robust monoblock plexiglas case with an aperture for display. The polyurethane base is curved to conform to the wrist. The dial is immersed in a waterline and shock-absorber liquid, luminous indications in relief. Base signed and numbered. Diam. 71 mm. Thickness 53 mm. Property of Various Owners
