PANERAI PAM 249 CALIFORNIA DIAL Officine Panerai, Brevettato, No. I 1092/1936, case No. BB 1246454, Ref. OP 6675. Made in a limited edition of 1936 examples in 2006, sold on December 8th, 2007. Very fine, large, cushion-shaped, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with "California? dial and a stainless steel Panerai buckle. Accompanied by the original fitted box, warranty, Certificate of Origin, instruction manual, spare crystal and a book: Legendary Watches, by Giampiero Negretti.

C. Three-body, polished, transparent screwed-down case back, removable wire lugs with 4 screws, screwed-down winding crown, sapphire crystals. D. Black with luminous Arabic, Roman numerals and baton indexes, outer minute track. Luminous blued steel baton hands. M. Cal. OP X, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating fl at balance spring, swan neck micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 47 x 47 mm. Thickness 15 mm.
