Officine Panerai Firenze 1860, "Mare Nostrum - Slytech Panerai", No 5, made in 1996. Large and extremely rare, waterproof to 50 meters, stainless steel Aisi 316 L, military diving wristwatch with with round button chronograph, register and tachometer, 30 hours power-reserve, a large thuyaroot wooden fitted box containing the watch, and a certificate.

C. polished, satined, screwed dedicated back, signed by Silvester Stallone, manual winding system, tachometer graduation on the bezel. D. opaque blue brass with ISO 8/3 tritium Arabic numerals and indexes + auxiliary seconds and 30 minutes register dials, sapphire crystal glass. "Baton" tritium hands. M. 13 1/4"' Dubois-Depraz on a base ETA, rhodium plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 43 jewels, lever escapement, Glucidur balance with 28.800 oscillations per hour, 4 adjustments, antishock system, self-compensating flat balance-spring, micrometer regulator, precision guaranteed to within 10 seconds/day. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 42 mm. Weight : 115 g.

This watch is No. 5 of this new limited series of 50 examples, although the back of the watch indicates No. 5/500. The Panerai Mare Nostrum watch is a reissue of the timepiece that Panerai designed for the Italian Navy in the 1940's, and was intended for use by Officers aboarcl ship. Due to the outbreak of the war, this special navy-styled chronograph with luminous dial never entered into production. Panerai offers it now, based on the original design drawings. This particular model has been realized in a special edition, in agreement with Sylvester Stallone whose signature is on the watch. On the dial of the watch, in effect, there is the mark Slytech Panerai (Sly is the well known nickname of Sylvester Stallone) and on the base, the Stallone's signature and the writing: Special Edition Sylvester Stallone.
