Made in a limited series of 1000 examples in 1997/1998. Fine and rare, large, cushion-shaped, water-resistant, stainless steel diver's wristwatch with a stainless steel Officine Panerai buckle. Accompanied by an additional rubber strap, fitted box, tool and booklets and the international warranty card and COSC.

Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 44 mm. THICKNESS 15 mm. The PRE A SERIES OP6502 is fitted with a tritium dial signed T-SWISS-T that differs from the later generation signed without the hyphen. For the OP 6502 pre-A watches of the second batch of the first series, the last four digits of the BB-number minus 400 (for the Mare Nostrums), equal the four digits of the limited edition number.
