PANERAI PAM 249 CALIFORNIA DIAL STAINLESS STEEL Officine Panerai, Brevettato, No. I 0547/1936, case No. BB 1217841, Ref. OP 6675. Made in a limited edition of 1936 pieces in 2006, sold in July 2007. Very fine, large, cushion-shaped, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with California dial and a stainless steel Panerai buckle. Accompanied by the original fitted box, spare strap, warranty, Certificate of Origin, instruction manual, spare crystal and a book: Legendary Watches, by Giampiero Negretti.

Three-body, polished, transparent screw-down case back, removable wire lugs with 4 screws, screw- down winding crown, sapphire crystals. Black with luminous Arabic / Roman numerals and baton indexes, outer minute track. Luminous blued steel baton hands. Cal. OP X, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, swan neck micrometer regulator.
