Nickel-plated metal, open-face, keyless-winding, round-shaped, military pocket watch, with subsidiary seconds at 6, made for the General Service Trade Pattern (“G. S. T. P.”) of the British Army.
Polished case-back; stamped with military marks “G. S. T. P. / Y 12364” and broad arrow.
White colour enamel dial, with suspended luminescent (3-9-12) and black painted (1-2-4-5-7-8-10-11) Arabic numerals; blued steel luminescent skeleton “Spade” hands.
Movement 21’’’, Cal. 38.5 L T1, gilded brass, going barrel, straight-line lever escapement, bimetallic compensated balancewith gold poising screws and blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, polished steel index-regulator.
