?Melbourne Olympics 1956? Omega, Seamaster XVI, Ref. 2850 SC, made in 1956. Very fine and rare, centre second, selfwinding, water-resistant, 18K pink gold gentleman's wristwatch with leather strap and yellow gold plated Omega buckle.

C. Two-body, massive, polished, screwed case back with logo, faceted lugs, flat bezel. D. Ivory China lacquer (made by Jean-Pierre Matthey-Claudet) with applied 18K pink gold faceted indexes repeating the lugs decoration, on the 6, the Cross of Olympic Excellency (the Maltese Cross). Pink gold "dauphine" hands. M. Cal. 471, copper coloured, 19 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 34 mm.
