Notes

The original ?Damier? was created in 1959 for Neiman Marcus in Dallas, Texas, for US$ 10'000. Its dial was made from a rare 7 1/2 carat-diamond and was over an inch in diameter. The diamond came from a fabulous collection of gems originally belonging to a royal family. In the early 1960's Omega launched this model, a replica of that unique watch, made in yellow and white gold, with a faceted sapphire crystal..
