chronometer with transparent back, one of 88 examples made between 1925 and
1930 for inclusion in Observatory trials. Accompanied by the original Bulletin de Marche from May 15,

C. Three-body, massive, polished, screwed-down transparent back and bezel. D. White enamel with painted black Paris numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel ?spade? hands. M. Cal. 60.8, frosted maillechort, 23 sapphire jewels, Guillaume balance with gold timing screws, blued steel balance spring with Philipps terminal curves. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 74.5 mm.
