Notes

Ref. ST 145.0023 was launched in 1970. One of two watches in the durable metal collection, this watch has had its bezel bombarded with a coating of tungsten, which is a hard, scratch-resistant metal. The movement in these watches is ?suspended? in a separate container within the case between two o-rings, to afford maximum shock protection. This reference is called the ?Anakin Skywalker? by collectors. For a further note, see the next lot. Cal. 861 was create in 1968. It was formerly called ?27 CHRO C12? and used on second generation ?moon watches?.
