Black with painted luminous white baton indexes, sunk guilloché subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 30-minute and 12-hour registers, all with radial Arabic numerals, outer minute/seconds and 1/5th seconds divisions. Luminous white ?baton? hands. M. Cal. 861, copper-colored, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, index regulator. The dial of this watch is exceptionally rare in that the registers bear more complete divisions than is usual, and are laid out in a radial fashion. Ref. ST 145.022-68 The ST 145.022 series of references was launched in 1968, and was the first of the Speedmasters to be fitted with caliber 861.
