Notes

This watch was presented to Formula 1 World Champion and Omega ambassador Michael Schumacher in July 1996 during the two-day launch of the new Speedmaster Automatic Racing watch collection in Schumacher's hometown of Kerpen, Germany. Successors to the legendary Moon Watch, the Speedmaster Racing watches were designed with the help of Michael Schumacher and bear the vibrant yellow and red of Formula 1 racing. As a man who has built his own success on unwavering precision and split-second timing, Mr. Schumacher relies on Omega watches for these same qualities. Ref. ST 175.0032 was launched in 1996 as the ?Speedmaster Racing?. The present lot was sold by Antiquorum on February 24, 1999, in the ?Famous Faces? auction, as lot 85.
