Gemini XII was a manned spaceflight and the final flight of the Gemini program and was conducted November 11-15, 1966 with Jim Lovell as command pilot and Edwin Aldrin as pilot. During the mission, rendezvous and docking manoeuvres were carried out with the Agena target vehicle and a space walk also undertaken. The mission paved the way for the Apollo mission and NASA?s moon venture. Cal. 1861 is the rhodium-plated version of Cal. 861 and used on third generation ?moon watches?. This watch is published on pages 176-177 of ?The Master of Omega?.
