This reference was launched in 1971.

The ?Dynamic? Family
In 1967 Omega marketing manager Robert Forster conceived of an entirely new style of watch. Designed by Raymond Thévenaz, with a case by Italian manufacturer Fernando Fontana (Sesto Calende), the ?Dynamic? family was launched in 1968 to a receptive audience. Its elliptical shape results from the first study of the way a watch sits on the wrist. In 1970 the ?Dynamic? family was moved into the ?De Ville? line, which is where Omega was concentrating its design efforts at the time. There it continued to be a great success, and as a result was launched as its own line in 1984, and again in 1997. In all, more than a million watches bearing the name ?Dynamic? were produced. The final incarnation of the ?Dynamic? line was as a series of watches based on World War II British Military pieces.
