Fine and very rare, rectangular, ?pupitre?, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold, asymmetric wristwatch with red date and an 18K yellow gold Omega bracelet with deployant clasp. Accompanied by fitted box, guarantee, instruction manual, service invoices and original catalogue.

Gold with painted inclined indexes, inner minute/seconds division, Omega logo on red medallion at 12 , date aperture in red at 6. Black ?baton? hands, red center seconds hand. M. Cal. 1300 ?Beta 21?, 13 jewels, with quartz standardization. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 36.8 x 42 mm. Thickness 15 mm.

Ref. BA 196.005 was launched in 1970. Although it was intended to be worn on the left arm, the winding crown was placed at 9 because the watch never requires winding and the movement was so accurate that adjustment was only required when one changed time zones, or at the end of the month.
